Ryan Polly is a spiritual writer and interfaith minister whose memoir explores the journey from spiritual disconnection back to wholeness. He is currently completing Light not Heavy, which traces his path from childhood spiritual calling through decades of seeking back to authentic service — and the radical self-love required to live and love from wholeness rather than woundedness. Ryan’s life has been shaped by significant challenges that taught him what it means to rise from woundedness, transform pain, and challenge the narrative he’d been raised with – ultimately discovering what it means to live a love-based authentic life. With a Ph.D. in Transformative Studies, he brings deep insight to his writing about transformation, loss, and the courage required to live authentically. His newsletter, Stitched Soul, offers reflections on healing, authenticity, and the sacred work of becoming whole in a world that wants to break us. Ryan lives in Maine with his spouse, children, and a lively crew of animals — including a dog, cat, goats, and even a mini-horse. An ordained interfaith minister and passionate singer-songwriter, he believes in the transformative power of small moments and the divine love that lives beyond doctrine. His mantra — Live in Your Truth. Powered by Love. — guides both his personal journey and his creative work.
